Community Assistance Program

The Moreno Valley United Methodist Church has supported the Community Assistance Program “C.A.P.” for several years. This is an organization that was founded by a former church member for the families in Moreno Valley who need assistance in supplementing their food budget. Our collection of canned goods and staples over the years has made it possible for families living in Moreno Valley to come to CAP and get food for their families when needed. This is definitely an organization that our church will continue to support.

Men’s Breakfast Club

Everyone is welcome! On the second Saturday of each month the men of the church meet for breakfast at a local restaurant. The conversation can range from spiritual issues to Football. Guest speakers are also brought in from time to time.

Bible Study and Prayer Group

This group meets on Tuesday evenings and is lead by Carol in her home.
Carol is a long-time student of the Bible and a person deeply committed to prayer.
This group prays for any and all who make requests, so even if people don’t attend the group prayer requests are encouraged to be made.

Choir

“God gave the heart a voice to sound its joy - and calls it music”.
~Author Unknown

Some choirs just sing, but this choir is also a small spiritual group grounded in prayer.
The “Master’s Chorale” performs all kinds of music from contemporary, to classical. Sissy is the director, and she and the choir take their music seriously, but with never ending fun. Anyone who loves to sing, or wants to learn more, is welcome.

Please refer to the Calendar page for practice schedule and times.

Come join our exciting music ministry!

Praise Team

“Music is love,
in search of words”

The praise team goal is get your feet stomping and your voices singing!
