THEME: The Senses of God

Come experience God with all 5 senses! We’ll explore how we see, hear, taste, smell and feel God among us. Using centers, we’ll sense how God is in each of us. How do we share that so that everyone can sense God in us? In 1John 4:11-12 it states: Dear friends, since Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us. Let us share in sensing God with us throughout the week in all we do.

THEME: Dig: Deeper into Christ

Is Jesus in your top 8? Do you follow Jesus’ twitter? Today, “friendship” is just a click away. But Jesus wants us to come to him face to face; He wants us to dig deeper. So, grab your Bible and join us at Junior High Camp. John 1:14 says: And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth. Together we will dig deeper into the life of Christ.

THEME: Mix Tape: Every life has a soundtrack

Our own personal soundtrack can play an important role in how we get through our days. Do you have a playlist on your iPod that you always play on a perfect day? Has anyone ever made you a CD with new songs or one you’d love to share with someone special? A mix CD, or a mix tape, can be a pain staking labor of love. Each song is selected for a perfect playlist that brings joy. Zepheniah 3:17 says: For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs. During our week, we’ll explore the songs that God is hoping we’ll hear as we go through an awesome playlist of who God is and how God feels about us and what’s going on in our lives. Please note that we’re relocating this summer to Camp Wrightwood. It is sure to be an exciting week!
